Sheilja Patel is an Operating Principal at Accel-KKR.
Prior to joining Accel-KKR, Sheilja was part of the Operating Team at BC Partners, where she worked closely with the firm’s portfolio companies across software, business services, consumer, and media sectors to drive operational excellence and strategic growth initiatives. Her experience spans pricing optimization, go-to-market refinement, product strategy enhancement, organizational design, cost optimization, post-merger integration, digital transformation and data-driven decision-making.
Before her tenure in private equity, Sheilja was a Director at Tesco PLC and dunnhumby, where she held various leadership positions including in commercial, marketing and product groups. Sheilja has worked at Bain & Co and began her career in investment banking at Morgan Stanley.
Sheilja holds an M.B.A. from the Wharton School and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Cornell University, graduating Magna Cum Laude.
